  1. Ah, I see you're getting into the AIPoes. Those are always worth a second (or even a third) look.

  2. SPARE PARTS is also on that DRIVE-IN FILMS 50 pack and while it's probably more thriller than horror, it was better than I would have guessed it was going to be. Interesting premise and execution - worth checking out.

Yeah, it's time to roll through the AIPoes again - haven't ever done a straight-through festival. The time is now. ;-]

  3. Yeah, I'll probably get around to Spare Parts at some point. My priority is polishing off the "Chilling Classics" set first, though. I only have six films left to go in that (two of which are Ken Russell's Gothic and Peter Jackson's Bad Taste), so I should be able to power through them. The only thing that's giving me pause is the fact that two of them are by Bill Rebane. I'd make a double feature out of them, but I don't want to bore myself to death.

  4. I hear ya. You might want to save Rebane's stuff for the Turkey Challenge next month.

You're very dedicated to push through that Chilling Classics set - or any of those box sets. Some real snoozers in there. I don't think I've made it through any of them completely. Closest is probably the "Horror Classics" one.
