Despite being one of the most popular kids in school and from one of the most affluent families in Beverly Hills, Bill (Billy Warlock) never feels like he fits in. His parents (Charles Lucia, Connie Danese), his sister Jenny (Patrice Jennings), his hot cheerleader girlfriend Shauna (Heidi Kozak), and his shrink (Ben Slack) all assure him he’s perfectly normal, but after Jenny’s ex-boyfriend (Tim Bartell) shows up with a mysterious audio recording of Bill’s family discussing abnormal practices in association with her upcoming "coming-out" ceremony, suspicions escalate. As resident teenage dream Clarissa (Devin DeVasquez) zeroes in on Bill, intent on luring him into her web, the situation grows more tangled, culminating in a climax quite literally beyond anyone’s imagination.

Howdy, folks,

It's an incredible thing to put something out into the world. You toil away at it in private, tinkering and tweaking, making little compromises, continuing to nudge it in the direction you want it to go. It's never exactly how you envisioned it, but at some point, you finally just say, "Enough."

For HIDDEN HORROR and all its contributors, that day was December 30, 2013, the day we all let go of the string and watched our bloody balloon sail off into parts unknown. We hoped others would love it as much as we did, that they would understand our love for the genre's misfit toys and join in the party. But, of course, there was no guarantee that they would.

So, we watched.

And waited...

And then the reviews started coming in.

And they liked us. They really, really liked us.

Which is pretty darn awesome.

It's been a grand month or so since we last checked in with news of everyone's favorite compendium of rantings and ravings from the darker quarter. There have been accolades and acolytes, convention rails and monster sales, and we owe it all to the support of bloody brothers and sisters like YOU.

Howdy, folks,

I've been keeping a fairly low profile with regards to not using this blog space to promote HIDDEN HORROR...but then I remembered, "Oh, yeah, I actually WANT to tell people about the book and people who are regularly visiting this particular realm of cyberspace might actually WANT to know what's going on with it, how to purchase it, etc." So, while this will absolutely not turn into an ongoing commercial for HH, I am going to share some good news from time to time, for those who are not regular frequenters of our Facebook page or who might have missed the latest bit of exaltation from our little dark corner of heaven.
