A varied selection there, sir. (Have you ever considered watching The Leech Woman and Corman's Wasp Woman back to back?) And I see you've decided to touch on Hammer after all.
ReplyDeleteI was pleasantly surprised with LEECH WOMAN - not a great movie, but fun in a B-/50s sci-fi way. Bud Westmore's makeup was great fun. Be good to see WASP WOMAN again - although the movie's not nearly as good as the poster. ;-]
ReplyDeleteCULT OF THE COBRA has its moments, but only moments. And I remembered DEADLY MANTIS being better than it was. Still a bona-fide 50s big bug movie, loaded with stock footage, but I had remembered it being a higher quality movie overall.
Originally, I was hoping to get through the Hammer Draculas this month, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen. Clock's a'tickin'...
I know what you mean. I still have a number of Hammers that I want to get through this week. In fact, tonight I watched The Reptile, which would do well alongside Cult of the Cobra.
